What time should I arrive to the ceremony? Is there parking on-site?
Doors will open at 4pm. Due to the historical nature of the chapel, limited parking is available on-site. Please allow time to arrive, park, and find seating before the 4:30 ceremony start time. We encourage carpooling with those you know or taking a Lyft/Uber to allow for as many guests as possible to park. We will gather your transportation information when you RSVP, so that we can plan parking ahead of time. Once the parking lot is full, you may be redirected down the road to an overflow lot.
What is the dress code?
Please dress for an elegant garden party.
While the ceremony and reception will be inside, the cocktail hour will be out in the chapel's garden where the ground is soft grass and pebbles.
On average, the weather in Chapel Hill in early October is a high of 75 and low of 55.
Can I bring my kids?
Enjoy some time to yourself! Our special day will be for those 21 and over.
I have dietary restrictions. What's the best way to let you know?
Please inform us when you complete your RSVP online.
Should I bring cash?
The bartenders will certainly appreciate your tips, but the bar itself is on us! (Another reason to Uber!)
I'm coming in from out of town. Where should I stay?
Check out the Travel page for accommodations and recommendations. Most importantly, there's a home UNC football game on the same day, so please plan ahead or you'll have a hard time finding somewhere near Chapel Hill.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Please don't. We have hired professionals to do that. The last thing we want is a picture-perfect moment ruined by a little screen in the shot. We would love to take pictures with you during the reception.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Give Chelsea the best present and RSVP by her birthday on August 22nd!
I'm coming in from out of town? What can I do while in Chapel Hill?
Please check out the Things to Do section of the website for suggested activities.
Will there be other events to attend during the weekend?
Before we leave for our honeymoon, wedding guests are invited to join us for a continental brunch, hosted by Chelsea's aunt, at the Guest House at Mission Farm the following morning. Horses, goats, a chicken coop, and more are all on-site. More details will be added here as we get closer to the day.
